Q: Why does my car need an oil change? 

A: Regular oil changes help your engine last longer and perform better by ensuring that your engine always has plenty of fresh, clean oil to keep its fast-moving parts lubricated and cool.


Q: What happens if I don't change my car's oil?


A: Oil can get contaminated with dirt particles over time, which can damage your engine. Oil also breaks down into a sludgy substance if it isn't changed regularly, which can hamper your engine's efficiency.


Q: When should I schedule an oil change?


A: We recommend changing your car's oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles or every six months (whichever comes first) to help your engine give its best performance.

Q: How often should I rotate my tires?


A: Scheduling a tire rotation at the same time as an oil change (every six months or so) is an excellent way to make sure your tires wear evenly and last longer.


Q: When should I get a wheel alignment?


A: We recommend getting your wheel alignment checked at least once or twice a year to help you avoid premature tire wear and handling issues.


Q: What causes wheel alignment issues and what are the warning signs?


A: If you notice that your car tends to pull to one side, your alignment might be off. Abnormal tire wear patterns can also indicate a problem with your wheel alignment. Alignment issues can be caused by everyday driving over time, but they can also come as a result of hitting a curb or pothole.


Q: How often should I schedule brake checks?


A: Getting your brakes checked every six months or so can help you make sure your vehicle always has plenty of stopping power.


Q: How do I know if my brakes need service?


A: If you notice squealing, grinding, or metallic growling when you brake, your brakes likely need service. Brake pedals that feel spongy or like they require more pressure than normal can also indicate a need for service.


Q: When do my brake pads need to be replaced and how do I check them?


A: Your brake pads should have at least a quarter-inch of pad material left. If your brake pads have less than a quarter-inch left, it's likely time to replace them. You can check your brake pads by looking between the spaces in your wheel.
