There are two different powertrain options available for the 2025 Mazda3 Sedan depending on which trim level you select. The base-level option is a naturally aspirated Skyactiv®-G 2.5-liter engine that pumps out 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Turbo models instead come with a more powerful engine that produces 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode is standard, but there’s also a Skyactiv®-MT six-speed manual transmission.
Those who select a turbo trim level of this new Mazda vehicle will receive standard i-Activ® AWD for enhanced ride quality overall. The Turbo Premium Plus trim level pushes boundaries even further by adding aerodynamic accents alongside a rear spoiler and front air dam. G-Vectoring Control Plus is also present.
